Cindy’s place was perfect for our weekend getaway in Vancouver! It’s great for big groups and was close driving distance to the city.

Good stuff first. This place was great for hosting a large number of people, the hot tub is wonderful and you can hear a stream where you sit and simmer, location has good parking, lots of privacy. However, this place is clearly set up to be just an airbnb, it is missing art on the walls, some furniture, really the bare minimum of amenities. There were no additional rolls of toilet paper, for example. And then the problems; not every pull out bed had sheets and when we reported this, they mis-delivered the wrong new sheets twice … points for effort no points for accuracy. Oven did not work at all, though they did provide an air fryer when we suggested that solution. Bring your own lights for out near the hot tub, because there were none other than a fluorescent garage light, but we brought fairy lights on strings and loved it. Is it overpriced? Yeah. Is it overpriced for Vancouver? No, it’s pretty competitive and the owner did try hard; it might be better next time.
